Mrs. Lee's Literacy Lovers
- C. S. Lewis
Hey there parents and students! I'm reporting from my recliner again, but this time, I'm completely well! Praise the Lord! :) I just wanted to provide a quick update on our schedule for the remainder of this week and next week. Tomorrow, we will begin exploring new skills and a new genre. Even though our genre is realistic fiction -which the kids are familiar with, it will be written in the style of free verse. For more information on exactly what that means, check out the video I've included in the helpful links below. We will still focus on theme, but our second skill for the week will be homographs. We will test on these skills next Thursday, March 9. Next Friday, we will be doing something fun with Disney and Pixar animated short films. :)
Because theme was our main skill last week, I didn't include any new helpful links on theme. Please visit my next to last blog post to find review videos and links for theme. Also, checking out the Upcoming Events tab to see what's happening at SMS in March. Have a safe evening!
