Hello, friends! Wow, we have only TWO WEEKS before Christmas break. This week will be our last week of Wonders before the break. Next week, we will take a week off to read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!
This week's blog post will look a little different. Our two main skills this week are the same as last week's skills: theme and context clues. Therefore, I won't be adding any new helpful links on those skills. Feel free to look back to last week's post and revisit those links. The only additional skill for reading this week will be the introduction of third person limited point of view. I found an AWESOME website with a very helpful video, which I will link below. If your child is in my language class, we will be studying the following: helping verbs, verb phrases, progressive tense verbs, and perfect tense verbs. Because there so much packed into this week, we WILL NOT be having a grammar test this upcoming Friday. We will take two weeks to thoroughly cover those skills. I'll include some links for extra practice below.
