Well, it's almost here...Christmas break! I know the kids are so ready. Next week, we will take some time off from the Wonders series to complete a book study on The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! We will be taking some quizzes on the chapters of that book, so those will act as test grades for the week. We will also use the text to practice past skills such as theme, context clues, and sequencing.
If your child is in my language class, we will continue to discuss helping verbs, verb phrases, progressive tense verbs, and perfect tense verbs. The test on those will be Thursday. We will also have new spelling words, which are listed below. ****PLEASE READ!!!! We WILL be having an early dismissal on Friday, December 16th. Buses will dismiss at 10:30. This will begin Christmas break. Students will not return to school until Wednesday, January 4th.
